We’ve had lots of lovely messages and questions lately asking when we’re opening, and while we’re not quite ready to set a date just yet (we’re running a little behind schedule!), we thought we would share another update on how things are progressing in the Harlings Kitchen and Farm Shop.
The good news is, we’re into the final stages of the build, and so much has already come together. Externally, the transformation has been incredible – the cladding is complete, the landscaping has been finished, and we’ve created a lovely outdoor seating area where you’ll be able to enjoy sweeping views across the Tamar Valley. We’ve also made sure the space is accessible, with newly laid pathways and accessible entrance.
Inside, all the plasterboard is up, and our plumbing and electrics are now fully in place. We’re gradually seeing the interior take shape, and it’s starting to feel like the space we’ve all been imagining for so long. It’s not just the building that’s moving forward either – our wonderful team have all now completed their food awareness and hygiene training, ready to hit the ground running when the time comes.
There’s still a fair bit to do before we can open our doors, but we’re getting closer every day. We know many of you are excited to visit, and we can’t wait to welcome you. As soon as we have a clearer idea of when we’ll be ready, we’ll share that with you here.
